Strauchartig/niederliegend, Blüte grün bis gelb 2-3 cm Drchmesser.

Im Gegensatz zu Subspecies alcahes, wächst Subspecies gigantensis in restrictem Gebiet der Cap Region Sur.

Das Artepitheton gigantensis verweist auf das Vorkommen.
