Vorkommen:
USA. California, Greenhorn Mountais, , Kern und Tulare Co. Endemisch. Berghänge, Grasland und offenes Waldland bis 1500 -2000 m Höhe.

Geophyt, perennial, bulbouse, Stengel variabel, bis 15 cm, selten verzweigt, Blätter variabel, grün, glaucous, 10-20 cm lang, 1 cm breit.

Blüte glockenblumenförmig, variabel angeordnet 1-3, behaart, weiß, hellgrün, 2,5-3 cm breit, Samenkapsel variabel, 1-2 cm, 3 förmig, Samen variabel, papierartig, hellbraun.
